The Garret is a loft style venue located on the second floor of 113 Stephen Avenue. This landmark building is where some Calgarians may remember Divino Wine and Cheese Bistro residing, and home to the original Calgary Herald Building.
Today, The Garret is home to all sorts of events - from meetings, private dinners to micro-weddings, our venue is the perfect setting for gatherings where our clients want to feel intimate.

OUR HISTORY
Originally constructed in 1887 and occupied by the Calgary Herald, the oldest running newspaper in the city, The Garret building has changed hands and proprietors many times over.
Now, over 115 years later we operate The Garret as a unique, boutique, loft style event space in the heart of Calgary’s downtown. We exist to help our clients craft moments that transcend the ordinary by providing excellent service that surpasses expectations. We pride ourselves on providing full service, turn-key event experiences. From food to cocktails, decor to entertainment, our team is dedicated to curating unforgettable moments that resonate.
